The 2024 Houston holiday mini sessions sign ups are live. There will only be two dates this year: November 3rd Indoor Studio and November 24th at the Christmas tree farm. Grab them before they’re gone!
The indoor studio will have live floral arrangements and seating different from previous years. The Christmas Tree farm minis will have all new seating and decor this year with a black and white modern touch that will go with any outfit colors.

Now… one of the most popular questions I get are “OMG what should my family wear?”
Family Holiday Photo Outfit Ideas
Do: Wear solid colors or stick to prints that are a bit larger. Dress up one outfit with a scarf, hat or cardigan. One great tip is alternate kids and adults with solids and prints. Mom and Dad can wear solid sweaters while the kids wear plaid. Or vice versa. Yes you can totally wear matching pajamas! Wear boots or flats for the tree farm sessions, but heels can be worn for the indoor studio location. If you have an infant wearing a dress, make sure you bring bloomers or pants to cover their diaper.
Don’t: Do not all wear different plaid shirts. They will clash and be too distracting. Avoid neon colors and very small checkered print (mostly on men’s shirts.) Don’t wear sandals!
Holiday Tree Farm Mini Session Pointers
Don’t forget to show up with enough time to wrangle the kiddos from your car to the meeting spot. There will be quite a bit of walking so make sure you bring a wagon or stroller to get to the location (sometimes there is a hay ride that can take you but it’s not always operating.) You may bring fur babies as long as they are on a leash. Bring treats or toys for kids and pups to bribe them to look at the camera. I will have signs in the field to direct you to where I am at so look out for the Pure Plush Photography logo. If you still can’t find me, please call or text me at 281-513-5298
And last but not least, kids will be kids and won’t be 100% angels and that is A-OK! I shoot a lot of photos to make sure I get some great ones.
Here’s some great outfit examples from my clients over the last few years!
