So how do you get married in Las Vegas? Destination elopement weddings are SO much fun. Over the 10 years I lived in Las Vegas, I photographed many weddings where it was just myself, the couple and the officiant. Read my how-to guide below on how to elope and have me come travel to photograph it of course! I offer complete packages and can help you plan it all.
This south Texas wedding was a year ago! I can't believe how much time has flown! I've known Jeff for many a moons from Texas and hadn't seen in a long time, but had never met his lovely bride-to-be until their wedding day. Which I still find crazy since we found out driving back from the wedding we were at my alma mater, SHSU, at the same time with mutual friends. At the time I was still living in Vegas, but they flew me to their wedding at Mansion by the Sea in Port Aransas Texas.
This was sadly was my last high school senior photography session for the class of 2015, but we had the chance to go out one more time this year to Nelson's Landing after a massive rain storm the day before would have made the dry lake bed a mud bath... or so we thought! Either way we stuck to the plan and shot around the ghost town until the sun set behind the canyon walls.
Hands down I think the dry lake bed is my favorite location for the Vegas area, but this was my first shoot there for senior pictures. Avea definitely rocked her shoot... especially when I found out about being in cheer in the past when I asked her to jump for one of the shots. I didn't expect this petite girl to launch off the lake bed like she had springs in her bare feet.
I love how every destination elopement to Las Vegas is different from the next. Ameera and Michael decided to run off to Vegas to elope and have a shoot in their amazing attire the next day around the Strip for a few hours. They want to have a very large wedding and saving up for it in a couple of years, but decided they couldn't wait to officially tie the knot and have some time together. Ameeras blush bridal gown was amazing and made of Faille fabric. I truly had never seen anything like it before.
