Nothing better than hiding out and waiting for a surprise proposal to happen!
Greg called me sneakily while Chante was getting her hair done. He had planned in advance to propose to his girlfriend while on their Vegas vacation before their friends arrived in town for the weekend. He had it all planned: a neon green Lamborghini to speed around town, the gorgeous ring, and their plans for the rest of the day. He got a hold of me to capture the surprise proposal and then do an engagement shoot afterwards around the Calico Basin. After consulting back and forth we had a plan! Chante had no idea what was about to happen that morning while they drove out for the day to see the sights on the way to Red Rock Canyon.
I snuck around with my large lens… pretending to be some sort of wildlife photographer at the park taking pictures of the bunnies hopping around. The proposal went off without a hitch and of course… she said “Yes!” After the reveal of the post-proposal photo shoot, we shot around around the park and finished off with some bubbly under a tree on the meadow to celebrate.
